A Frank we won't make fun of

Forgive us for coming perilously close to mixing politics and sports, which we'd vowed not to do until Jimmy Kemp inevitably runs for office. But we're just too intrigued by the final line of this.

For the record, if Frank McKenna takes over from Tom Wright, he'll officially become our hero. Not that we're sure how good a job he'll do; even dealing with Ralph Klein doesn't prepare you for the unique social skills of Robert Wetenhall. But turning down a chance to be prime minister to run the CFL would be the most delightfully Canadian thing we've ever seen.
Also the most self-destructive thing we've ever seen. But still.
