I think Jane got caught up in the "Anti-Miller" rhetoric with that one. However...I'm stunned that even a bottom feeder like Marty York would give credence to the race card. Roy Shivers did a great job bringing in talent and recruiting blacks to play in a racist town populated by ignorant rednecks. I commend shivers for lasting a long time in a place where minorities tend to avoid. Im glad somebody gave Shivers an opportunity to vent and speak the truth. Also Tillman is a snake and i dont believe anything that comes outta his mouth. I would love to see Shivers come to Toronto and work in the front office. I would also love to see Danny Barret become assitant head coach/Offensive Co-ordinator in Toronto. Maybe we can get Kerry Joseph to be QB once Damon retires and get kenton keith to replace ricky williams. Roy Shivers is the man, and gave african-americans a chance to play QB in an all-white town.

I think we should be careful not to stereotype all Saskatchewanians. That said, I agree Barrett has a pretty bright future...though unfortunately, I suspect it'll be as head coach of the Ticats.

well arad, many people within the cfl read your blog, you need to start a campaign to get shivers to work as assistant gm, and get barrett here as offensive co-ordinator. Also start a anti-mike toth crusade, this guy is a disgrace to broadcasting for his multiple attacks on ricky williams as a character player.
